Botanical Name: Cymbopogon Citratus
This essential oil works on body and mind to refresh and stimulate. Lemongrass is deodorizing antibacterial and makes an effective insect repellent. Is one of the key ingredients in natural insect repellents.
Diluted in a blend, a lemongrass massage strengthens muscle tone and slack tissues, ideal for pre-sport massage or treat aching muscles or muscle strain. It can also soothe headaches.
Simple Usage: 3 oils method is wonderful
Lavendula Vera x 1 drop
Peppermint Aven x 1 drop
Lemongrass x 1 drop
Carrier Oil x 5 drops
Usage Instructions:
1. **General Application**: Mix a pump of carrier oil with a drop of each essential oil—lavender, peppermint, and lemongrass. Apply the mixture to your neck, shoulders, joint or stomach. You can adjust the number of oil drops according to your preference (Above is a reference guide). Can combined with gentle Kwa Sha.
2. **Without Carrier Oil**: If you don’t have carrier oil, you can substitute with body lotion.
3. **Lavender Oil**: This oil can be applied directly to cuts, burns, or nail infections for its soothing properties.
4. **Peppermint Oil**: For a refreshing effect, place one or two drops on a tissue and inhale throughout the day.
5. **Lemongrass Oil**: Known for its potency, lemongrass can help alleviate dampness and nerve pain. However, use it sparingly to avoid skin irritation.
6. **Foot or Hand Soak**: You can create a relaxing soak by mixing lemongrass, lavender, and peppermint oils in a pail of warm water for your hands or feet, promoting improved circulation.
Lemongrass calms and fortifies nerves and eases depression and stress.
Add 4-6 drops to 10 drops of a light lotion or base oil to refresh and tone skin.
In a diffuser disperse into a room to raise spirits and lift exhaustion.
Dilute 10-12 drops in a small spray bottle of witch hazel, use as an insect repellent.
